#FreePalestine = Genocide

st,small,215x235-pad,210x230,f8f8f8.lite-1u1Is supporting the #FreePalestine movement a celebration of genocide?

The name Palestine originates with the Romans who had just committed genocide, stopped short and forcibly ejected the Jews from their homeland and caused all manner of hardship, death and destruction in the name of Empire all so the Romans could continue to occupy the Kingdom of Judea.

A few hundred years later, the Islamic Empire continued that tradition of conquest, genocide and occupation.

Israel finally gets their homeland back and the myth of the Palestinian Nation is created to steal that land from them again.

Palestine has never existed as an independent State. The lie of Palestine was created in 1967 when the Arab Muslims finally realized that they could not “drive the Jews into the sea” or “make the Med run Red with the blood of the Jews.”

Support of Palestine is support of genocide.

Nations Are Earned in Blood Not Flight

2bdf9819-94ec-4b55-8392-3953b98bda43-bestSizeAvailable

Nations become Nations because people fight, die and, eventually, succeed in taking the land upon which those nations are built.

This is how the United States, Ireland, Russia, China, Britain, France, Sweden, Thailand, Iraq, Syria, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Turkey, Yemen, Oman and every other Nation on the planet were formed.
This is how Israel was formed as well. This is why Palestine is not, has never been and will not be a Nation.
Palestine has never been a Nation. The existence of a group of people who choose to call themselves a name created by Romans nearly 2,000 years ago neither necessitates nor creates a Nation. The existence of a people who chose to flee (as they do in Syria) and become refugees rather than fight for their homeland does not create nor does it necessitate a Nation. A group of people who choose to call themselves Palestinians and who use terrorism to bully the world into coming to their aid and who constantly poke a bear in it’s lair so that said bear will come out and mail them neither creates, justifies nor necessitates a Nation.
Palestine has been a lie since 1967. Before 1967, Palestine was naught but the name of a province of Rome and half of the name of a British Mandate.
The people who chose to brand themselves Palestinians chose to flee rather than to stand and fight.

They do not deserve a Nation.

The True Face of Christianity

Nothing has changed since the Roman Emperor co-opted Christianity into the Empire.

The poor are used. The Rich are are further enriched.

The people are too stupid to realize the truth.

12243491_521729207987461_1886364654657735943_n

If you give money to these criminals you are a fool. If Christ were a part of Christianity, these folks would not exist.

Christians are definitely sheep. Ignorant, bleating and led to the slaughter.

12247040_457648937753357_574051619845393288_n

If there is a hell, Christians deserve it. They have made the Earth closer to hell than heaven.

Imaginary Race, Contrived Privilege

scientific_racism_irishWho said it was easy to be successful?

I would say that Michael Jordan would take umbrage of your characterization of his work ethic and that his path was easy.

Oprah as well. She fought tooth and nail to get her opportunities.

Luck is preparation meeting opportunity. You have to have the courage to take that step.

You have to make friends and win people over.

And, hell yes, it is difficult. Nothing in life is easy.

You start poor. You are different from society at large.

This is the same in any country.

Being a dark Thai in Thailand. Being a Khmer in any country in Southeast Asia including Cambodia. Being a dark Indian or an “untouchable” or other lower caste in India. Being from a minority ethnicity in China.

What you call “White Privilege” is merely being a member of the dominant cultural/national sect, tribe, religion or ethnicity.

This is why I do not subscribe to this lunacy. It may be “White Privilege” in America. However, in Malaysia, it could be called Chinese Privilege. In Thailand, it would be called Tai privilege. In Afghanistan, it is tribal privilege. In Russia, it could be Muscovite Privilege or Kievan Privilege. In Saudi Arabia, it might be called Wahhabi privilege or Arab Saudi privilege. In Iran, it would be Persian privilege. In Kenya, it would be the Kikuyu.

This is universal. This “privilege” exists in every nation on the planet.

No, American, you are not unique. Not even in your bigotry, racism or discrimination.

No, I’m not saying that it is just. I’m simply tired of the Liberal Leftist Fantasy that this is a uniquely American or uniquely White American trait.

Hard work can get you places. Smart work gets you further. Intelligent, creative work gets you even further.

Yes, having a silver spoon will set you far in advance of your “peers” in America and in every other nation on the planet.

Is it fair? Hell no! Is it life and has it always been the way of life on this planet? Hell Yes!

Will this change? Not likely.

The only way that prejudice, bigotry, discrimination end on this planet is if all humans perish. Every last one of us.

Racism is a contrived European Colonial Construct designed to do exactly what we are allowing it to do — DIVIDE AND CONQUER!

As long as the ignorant masses continue to play the race game, we lose.

Race as it exists today is an imaginary dividing line that was brought into existence by the Monarchs, Plutocrats and other Elites of Europe.

In Roman times, Romans considered themselves a race apart from the Greeks, Germanic Tribes, the Gauls, etc. Each of those considered themselves of different racial stock from Rome.

Prior to European Colonialism and the African Slave Trade, European Elites divided themselves “racially” from the peasants.

Now, they have the ignorant masses fighting each other over the color of their skins. How stupid do we have to be to continue to fall for this.

Yet, we revel in it.

White people think themselves superior to Black people. Black people hate Latinos and Koreans. Koreans hate everyone. Jews are reviled by the masses (although this predates the creation of Europe as a supra-National collection of monarch States). Everyone hates and distrusts everyone else and we point the finger at each other over slights real and imagined.

How pathetic are we!

Cultural Appropriation is Neither New nor Unique to America

ignorance

So…a moron who claims he is American (I believe him) asks me to prove that cultural appropriation is not new, not unique to America and indeed has been around for a long, long time.

I answered thusly;

Gulf Arabs look down upon Palestinians and pretty much every other Arab or Muslim Nation.

Hazaras in Afghanistan who are descended from Genghis Khan.

Druze in the Levant.

Syriacs, Coptics were some of the the original Christian members predating Constantinian Catholic Christianity. When Rome took Christianity and passed it on to Europe, these Levantine Christians were sought out and slaughtered as heretics by post-Roman European Christians.

And, yes, there are plenty of Christian examples of “cultural appropriation.” Black Gospels, themselves, are cultural appropriation as is European Christianity. The religion of Christ was stolen from the Levant and laid over Europe. The Europeans then went about the act of murdering the original Christians which laid the foundation of dissent which allowed Islam to rise so easily in those areas.

Thai Corporations which sell whitening products. This is an Asian phenomenon and it has nothing to do with Europe.

Bedouins in the Gulf Area and the appropriation and commercialization of their culture to tourists. The Gulf Nations such as the UAE then oppress these bedouin peoples.

Many, many cultures have adopted Gypsy styles of dress and dance. No one is quite certain from whence originated the Gypsies as they are a roving band of people who predate history. Everyone in Europe hates the Gypsies and looks down upon them. The whole Bohemian movement was started by Gypsies. Much of the clothes worn in high fashion can be traced back to the Gypsies. Yet, they are hated and vilified. Even Hitler tried to exterminate them.

I find this irksome. When someone asks me to provide them with obvious examples of historical fact about which one should have learned in high school. Aside from that, there is google.

America is such a myopic, ignorant land…which is why we have terms such as “white privilege” and “cultural appropriation.”

If Americans would educate themselves…my God what a Nation we could be.

Instead, we whine and argue over inconsequential bullshit.

One last as it is a HUGE one.

The Yuan Empire was created by Khublia Khan who, as you should know, was a Mongol. Much of what China has become is due to the Mongols, Jinghiss [Genghis] Khan and his grandson Khublai

The Chinese erased that history, gave Kublai a Chinese name, and claim descent from the Yuan Empire for themselves. The Chinese hate the Mongols. The Chinese try even now to claim Mongolia as part of China as they do with Tibet.

It’s a huge world out there. There is nothing new under the sun. The more one knows…the less of a whiny cunt one becomes as a result.

Equality -~Liberal Madness and all but Impossible

Barbarians-at-the-Gate-1024x768

There is no such thing as equality in nature. Only bureaucracies and liberal government can bring about a semblance of faux equality. And that for only a short period of time. Equality is the unique madness of liberalism.

This madness destroys any culture it infects.

Then…the barbarians arrive.

I would say that Communism seeks to make property communal with all peoples equal.
This is impossible.
There are no humans who are this honorable, selfless, altruistic.  Communism fails not because it is a bad system. Communism fails because humanity has no ability to cooperate in such a system.

Before the Cult of the Nazarene became the perversion that is Romanized Christianity, the earliest “Christians” operated on this communal principle. All gave what they had and all shared. If someone held back and gave only halfheartedly to the community, that person was ostracized and expelled.

Communism is a valid theory. It is not a valid system. Not because it is inherently good or evil but because humanity is inherently egotistical, exploitative, self-centered. For most of us, it takes great tragedy for us to lift our eyes from our own struggles, trials and tribulations and to aid or care for the other. For communism to work, humanity would have to completely and collectively unclasp their egos and join hands. This is all but impossible.

From Cairo to Istanbul in 28 Days

https://hereticdhammasangha.files.wordpress.com/2010/11/pa172081.jpg

We flew from Bangkok to Cairo on the 21st of September.  On the first day, we tripped around to Giza and the City of the Dead.  Later that evening, we took the train to Aswan.  Along the way, we stopped at Abo Simbel, Luxor, Karnak, Philae, Deendeera, Abydos, Hurghada and finally flew to Alexandria.  We spent two days touring Alexandria.  Taking in the new Library of Alexandria and Fort Qutbay as well as the Greek and Roman Catacombs under the city.  We drove from Alex. back to Cairo where we toured the city in detail (Muhammad Ali Mosque, the Giza Plateau, Pyramids and Sphinx, Saladin’s Citadel, etc).  We also took in Sakkara and Memphis and viewed the Red and Bent Pyramids as well as the Alabaster Sphinx and the Statue of Ramses II along with the Ziggurat of Zoser and the surrounding pyramids.

Then we were off to Israel.  We spent about 5 days in Jerusalem viewing the old City and took day tours out to Nazareth, Akko (Acre), Ceaserea, the Dead Sea, the Jordan River and Masada.  We met an old friend (Mali) from my days in the MFO in the Sinai.  And we got the excellent airport treatment for which Tel Aviv is so famous.  But that’s a story for another day.

Finally, we were on to Turkey.  I wanted to see the Hagia Sofia.  Primarily.  That said, I was a bit anxious about Turkey.  I’ve been to quite a few Muslim countries and Islam hangs over them like a pall.  I don’t particularly care for it.  It’s quite heavy and puts a damper on things.  Israel did not have this except in the Palestinian areas of the Old City in Jerusalem.

We arrived in Turkey and I was quite pleasantly surprised.  Islam is an undercurrent in Istanbul.  They’re Muslim.  You know it.  They know it.  No one gives a damn.  I like that.  It’s how it should be with all religion and it’s how it is in most non-Muslim places.

It was refreshing.  I don’t think I saw but 10 Chadori/Hijab wearing women and they all seemed to be tourists.  Nothing oppressive in Turkey about religion.  They seem to all get along.  I met quite a few Nestorian Christians and they had the same attitude.  We’re Christians.  So what!  There’s none of the demand that their religion be respected at all cost.  I like that.

Turkey was clean as well.  That’s another thing about Muslim countries.  They’re dirty and run down.  Even newer places.  It’s as if Allah has declared that “thou shalt not do maintenance.”  lol  Cairo is the worst.  They built the city hundreds of years ago atop ruins.  They didn’t remove anything.  They cleared no land.  Just started building atop the rubble.  When those buildings started falling apart, they just built around them.  And the dirt and grime.  It’s everywhere.

Not so in Istanbul.  It’s a beautifully maintained city.  Clean streets.

And the people.  Everyone was so nice.  And they smiled.  Very few mean spirited folks or scammers around.  As a matter of fact, I can’t remember anyone even attempting a scam on us.  We asked directions when we were lost and we were simply given directions.

The food was great as well.  They had these pancakes with beef or veggies or jellies. Whatever you wanted.  AND THEY WERE DELICIOUS.  Of course, the Lamb Kabob was excellent.  I ate so much kabob, I thought I was going to explode.

The Hagia Sofia or Aya Sofia was wondrous.  Incredible.  Amazing.  It was gargantuan.  The famous religious depictions were beautiful.  Centuries old Art.

The Blue Mosque or Suleimein.  One of the most beautiful structures I have had the pleasure to visit.  More lovely inside than the Mohammad Ali Mosque in Cairo.  Insanely intricate and well maintained as well.  Simply beautiful.  Can’t say it enough.

We walked around the city several times. Stopped by a few museums.  The Istanbul Archaeological Museum was huge.  Relics from Troy, Persia, the Ottomans, the Greeks, the Romans, and everything in between.  It was amazing.

Then we went up the hill to the Topkapi Palace.  I didn’t know much about it.  I knew it was supposed to be gorgeous and historical.  I hadn’t researched it.  We almost didn’t go.  Huge mistake.  If you make it to Istanbul, you must go to the Topkapi Palace.   Aside from it’s beauty and historocity.  It has what are called “The Sacred Trusts.”

The Sacred Trusts are actual artifacts handed down (or stolen) from Empire to Empire from the time of Mohammad.  His clothing.  His water bowl.  The plates off of which he ate.  And not only Mohammad.  There are relics from Fatima and “the Companions.”

That is some serious history.

There are also pieces of the Kaba’a from Mekkah and old keys and locks to the Kaba’a and the Grand Mosque there in Mekkah.

Treasures all.

I could scarcely believe my eyes when I walked in this room.  When I laid my eyes upon the Sword of Mohammad, I thought I was seeing things.  I had to rub my eyes.  Take my glasses off and clean them and take a second to let it sink in.

Imagine finding the sword of Genghis Khan or Alexander the Great.  Imagine finding the actual clothing that Jesus wore or the actual cup and plate from the last supper.

I’m no believer in any of these religions, but, I have a keen interest in history.  As a personality from an earlier age and a great historical interest, I have much respect for Mohammad.  He built an empire from nothing.  He created a religion and a culture which has lasted for over 1300 years.  It’s not his fault that his religion and his culture has been hi-jacked by complete asses like Osama bin Laden, the House of Saud and the followers of al Wahhab.  That’s not to mention the Iranian fools.  And, still yet, it doesn’t take into account the idiotic Apologists in Europe and America who sell their lies to an ignorant populace.

At any rate, it was a singular experience for me to be able to gaze upon the Swords that Mohammad and his companions used to rise up out of the desert and plant the seed that created one of the worlds greatest empires.

I was awe stricken.

After Istanbul, it was on to Ephesus to see the Greek Ruins, the House of Mary where Jesus’ Mother supposedly lived out her last days and the Temple of Artemis.  Next day it was on to Pammakule.   These places are so full of history and culture that there is no possible way for me to do them justice.  The Temple of Artemis is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

In this trip, we’d been fortunate enough to visit 3 of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World.  The Temple of Artemis, The Pharos of Alexandria (Fort Qutbay) and the Pyramids at Giza.

In my estimation, Abo Simbel is a great worthy of this acclamation as well.  Abo Simbel is a wonder of any age much less to marvel that it was built thousands of years ago.  But then again, Egypt is full of wonders that defy description, dazzle the eye and boggle the mind.

From Cairo to Istanbul in 28 Days.  This was a great trip and we all very much enjoyed ourselves.

Hope you enjoy the pictures…Dave

No Need for a Jewish Homeland?

Animosity against Jews intensified. Notes nailed to the homes of Jews accused them of working for Israel and corrupting Muslim morals. “Jews were specifically targeted by Houthi rebels,” says a spokeswoman for the Yemeni embassy in Washington.

In January 2007, Houthi leaders threatened Jewish families in Saada. “We warn you to leave the area immediately… [W]e give you a period of 10 days, or you will regret it,” read a letter signed by a Houthi representative cited in a Reuters article.

Virtually the entire Jewish community in the area, about 60 people, fled to the capital. Since then, they have been receiving food stipends and cash assistance from the government while living in state-owned apartments in a guarded enclave, says the Yemeni embassy in Washington.

President Saleh, a Shiite, has been eager to demonstrate goodwill toward the Jews. On the Passover holiday, he invited TV crews to videotape families in the government complex as they feasted on lamb he had ordered.

Raida became the last redoubt of Yemeni Jews, who continued to lead a simple life there alongside Muslims.

Ancient stone homes dot the town. Electricity is erratic; oil lamps are common. Water arrives via truck. Most homes lack a TV or a refrigerator. The cell phone is the only common modern device. Some families receive financial aid from Hasidic Jewish groups in Brooklyn and London, which has enabled them to buy cars.

Typically, the Jewish men are blacksmiths, shoe repairmen or carpenters. They sometimes barter, trading milk and cow dung for grass to feed their livestock. In public, the men stand out for their long side curls, customarily worn by observant Jewish men. Jewish women, who often marry by 16, rarely leave home. When they do, like Muslim women, only their eyes are exposed.

It is bewildering to me when people question the need for a Jewish Homeland.  The Jews have been persecuted for centuries.  Since the Roman era diaspora.  Christian purges, Czarist pogroms, Islamic expulsions.  The Holocaust of Nazi Germany.  Jews are forever the scapegoat for the inadequacies, incompetence and criminal acts of the elite.

Yet, today, people question the need for a homeland wherein the Jews can defend themselves and live with dignity.  A place where the Jewish people can live without fear.  A place where a future as a Jew is possible.

Palestine is a fiction.  There was never a Palestine in history except as a Roman province.  The name itself comes from the Roman language.  The Romans dubbed the area Palestine as an affront to the Jews.  Palestine is the Roman transliteration of the word Philistine.  Thus, the Romans named the area once known as Judea after the ancient enemy of the Kingdom of Judea.  Jews have had a constant presence in the area for thousands of years.  They have been present in the Levant since the time of the ancient Kingdoms of Assyria and Babylonia and the ancient Persian Kingdoms.  Alexander’s Generals and historians wrote of the Jews there.  The Romans conquered them there.

Then came the Muslim Empire.  The great and bloody Empire of Islam.

Islam conquered the area and forced mass conversion on the inhabitants of the region.  Well, technically the didn’t force conversion.  You had choices.  Flee.  Become a slave.  Pay a hefty tax called the Jizya.  To avoid all of these choices, one had merely to convert.  State three times the words “there is no God but Allah and Mohammad is his Prophet.” Yes, many people “chose” to convert to Islam.  And what a choice it was.

Today, all across the Muslim world, Jews are second or third class citizens.  They are treated poorly.  Subject to rules and regulations and the whims of a mostly illiterate populace.  Antisemitism is on the rise across the globe.  Especially in Europe and the Arab lands.

The Arabs like to say that Israel is a guilt price for the actions of Europe during World War II.

And perhaps there is some truth to that.

Even so, the Jews have paid their own blood price for that land.  When Israel declared independence in 1948, the Arabs attacked.  Killing thousands of Jews and proclaiming that they would drive the Jews into the sea.  The Jews fought back and held off that bloody calamity.  The Arabs maintained a steady war of attrition for the next 30 to 40 years.  Attacking at the borders.  Raiding across the border and murdering families and communities much like the bloodletting and rockets that the Palestinians and Hezbollah plan and execute today.  In 1956, 1967 and 1973, the various Arab factions have pursued outright war against Israel by closing the straits and bottlenecking the Red Sea, by bombarding the country with artillery and build ups on the borders of Israel and by outright attacking as Sadat did in the ’73 October War.

Yet, through it all, Israel has survived.  They’ve had the assistance of the US at times.  Their enemies have also had assistance.  The Soviets paid for most of the militaries of Egypt and Syria.  The Army that attacked Israel in 1973 was “mentored” by Soviet “advisers.”  Soviet pilots were shot down in combat action in the ’73 war.

These are things that the opponents of Israel will deny or claim inconsequential.

Israel has always existed in one form or another.  Most of the land that comprises Israel was owned by Jews in 1948.  This land was purchased from the Arabs who owned the land.  Most of the business in Israel in 1948 was Jewish owned.  The Arabs who lived in the area in 1948, moved there because of developments created by the Jewish immigrants to the area.

I have been to Israel.  What is striking about the region is that Israel is much like a mini-European country in a vast wasteland.  Exit Israel and enter Egypt or Jordan or Syria.  You enter a time warp.  As if traveling back to the Ottoman Empire.  If Israel were to fail as a nation, this is the same fate that awaits the land.  It will corrupt and fall into disuse and neglect.  This is why the Arabs want it?  The people of Israel took a barren wasteland and made it into a paradise.  The Arabs simply let the wasteland stand as it is.

I do not support the creation of a Palestinian State.  Never do I think this should happen.  A Palestinian State would be nothing more than another Islamic Despotism wherein the people are kept illiterate and a few corrupt leaders in the mold of Yassar Arafat will enrich themselves at the expense of  the masses.  The Arabs of Palestine would do better to make their own treaty.  Expel the thugs of the PLA, Hamas and FATAH and make their own treaty with Israel.  Create a non-religious state and live side by side with Israel in peace.  Either as an autonomous region or a City-State along the lines of the Vatican.  Live in peace with their neighbors and let religion be no issue at all.

Israel is the only beacon of light in the darkest region of the Planet.  In almost every country that claims Islam as it’s dominant religion, the people are merely slaves to the whims of despotism and tyranny.

Israel should be supported by all democracies and all liberal peoples.  The PLA and the other groups that keep this war going should be international pariahs.  Iran, Saudi Arabia and any other country who supports these groups should be ignored.

But, of course, oil makes that impossible.  America, China, Europe and India will kiss the feet of the Arab oil men of the Middle East and ignore the real injustice of the region.  And the despots of the Arab Nations will forever use Israel as the scapegoat for their corruption to avert the eyes of their illiterate masses away from the real enemies that are the leaders of their own nations.

The Carnivorous Pigeons of Rome

P1016111I took these pictures while resting in Rome.  We had stopped for a lunch break at a snack stand.  The pigeons gathered around us and we started throwing them bread crumbs.  One of us dropped a piece of meat from our sandwich and the pigeons swarmed over it.  So we started throwing meat as well.

I had no idea that pigeons were carnivores.
