The US Media Has Always Been An Arm of the State

“You furnish the pictures and I’ll furnish the war.” – William Randolph Hearst, January 25, 1898

It is known (though somehow not well known) that the US Media has been in the pockets of Big Government and has been for decades, if not, since the beginning.

I know for a fact that papers were party papers, at least, as early as the Jacksonian Era.

World War II saw the US media become a propaganda arm of the State.

There was #OperationMockingbird.

Approximately 50 of the [Agency] assets are individual American journalists or employees of U.S. media organizations. Of these, fewer than half are “accredited” by U.S. media organizations … The remaining individuals are non-accredited freelance contributors and media representatives abroad … More than a dozen United States news organizations and commercial publishing houses formerly provided cover for CIA agents abroad. A few of these organizations were unaware that they provided this cover.

I see the US media as, primarily, an arm of the State. They support all wars but especially those initiated by the Democrats.

This is a major reason that I discount the majority of this Russia nonsense. Russia is not a historical enemy. The Cold War was a 70 year historical anomaly brought on by our foolish defense of the Europeans.

The United States of America has more in common with Asia than with Europe. More so now, since soon, Europe will become a religious nightmare due to migration of millions superstitious illiterates.

How long before we hear of Russian soldiers bayoneting Crimean babies in their cribs.

Nayirah, the lying little Kuwaiti trollop who was used to deceive the American people and take us to Bush’s War. It turns out that the young lady wasn’t just some random Kuwaiti girl. She was the daughter of the Kuwaiti Ambassador to the U.S.

Conspiracy Theory

I love people who hide behind the “Conspiracy Theory” trope. It’s like a grand security blanket. Nice, cozy, warm.

Years later, we learn that, after all, these weren’t conspiracy theory but actual conspiracy. In the meantime, in the winter of our denial, men have died to bring us truth. Lives were destroyed by the State whilst attempting to reveal the criminal actions of the State. Still, the denial lives on flowing through the ages as a muddied river hiding the great sins of the State.

I can’t count the number of conspiracy theories that have been found to have been actual plans, acts and, yes, conspiracies, not theoretical, but real.

No one thought that the Government of the United States would subvert the Media. Yet, #OperationMockingbird.

No one believed that the CIA would be involved in the importation and sale of drugs. Yet, the evidence is everywhere and is, now, spoken of openly. It’s common knowledge.

No one thought that the US Government would experiment on it’s own citizens. Yet, we now know all about MKULTRA, Tuskegee, and the practice of dropping clouds of gasses on American Cities to test the dispersion patterns of CRBN agents.

And every time these “conspiracy theories” are proven to be, not theory, but actual acts of the State, people say; “Well, who could have known?” and immediately go back into denial. Who could have known? The Men and Women who are now dead or whose lives have been destroyed in the effort to bring these truths to the fore.

The only thing that keeps Liberty alive is knowledge and the will to act on said knowledge. The person who screams “conspiracy theory” at every turn is the exact enemy of knowledge and acts, willingly or not, knowingly or not, on the part of the State to destroy the will to act on that knowledge.
