What is a Black King?

Why are [some, not all,] Black American of the Social Justice variety so insecure that they must always call themselves Kings and Queens?

What if I said “White Kings built the NBA”?
The social justice freaks of the internet would lose their minds.
Yes, they would. LMAO

OH NO! Waht FrAh – gel – itt- eye!!!

If you are going to change the NBA Logo, it should be altered to shadow Michael Jordan or Bill Russell.

Both! More accomplished than Kobe Bryant.

I’ve no problem with it being changed to Kobe. That’s me. I liked Kobe and Jordan and don’t mind Lebron so much. Even if he is a whiny, political naif who doesn’t want to get into “word or sentence feuds” after he has entered into DEBATES about subjects of which he is woefully ignorant because he wants to remain ignorant in order to maintain that mantle of Social Justice Warriory-ism no matter how many Uighur die at the hands of Chinese Communism in order for him to continue to profit off of NBA China.

Kobe was a bit polarizing in his day. People don’t remember that. He wasn’t as popular in his day as Michael Jordan. He wasn’t as accomplished as Jordan. He was a Great. That cannot be denied. He damned sure was. I loved Kobe. Love Shaq a bit more. It’s just that Michael Jordan made the NBA what it is today. There will never be another Jordan. Jordan was universal. Kobe was planetary. A subtle difference but a difference nonetheless.

One should never forget, though, that the two players that made the NBA what it is today were Magic and Bird. That rivalry, that play, those games starting with the ’79 NCAA Championship gave the NBA the boost that it needed to springboard into the future of what the NBA is today. The NBA that exists today is not possible without those two players. One Black. One White. A kind of mirror of American society and the fans that watch the games and make possible those huge salaries that make it possible for Kyrie Irving to feel like a King.

Bill Russell was the greatest Player of All Time. He was Mister NBA before that even became a thing.

My vote for the logo? If we’re going to change it because we must have a Black NBA guy over a White NBA guy (and that is kinda racist but it’s ok because it’s cool to be racist against the old Crackalacka), it should be one of those guys – Jordan or Russell. And let’s not kid ourselves. This is a racial thing. Pure and simple. NBA is played by majority Black Athletes for a majority White audience. This is all about race. I sometimes wonder if some of these folks won’t stop until there is no White audience. Then what? How do those KINGLY salaries get paid when White America feels that the NBA is no longer their game to watch? That they are no longer welcome.

At any rate, if they must change the NBA Logo, I’m for Jordan. Jordan was IT! Jordan was THE number one reason that THE GAME gained universal appeal across the world. Jordan was the Global Phenomenon. Kobe…not so much.

Everyone who has come and will come after MJ will be compared to MJ. Period. 6 Finals. 6 Rings. No Game 7s.

Even now. Years after his retirement. They don’t ask who is greater Lebron or Kobe. They asked who was greater Kobe or MJ. Now, they ask who is the greatest? Lebron or MJ.

P.S. I have two questions for [not all but] some of the (Social Justice) Black Americans:

1. Do they realize that there are actual Black Kings extant in this world at this moment? HINT: They’re in Africa.
2. Do they realize that, in the past, Black (aka African) Kings sold Africans into Slavery to Europeans, Arabs, Asians and other Africans?
