Some guys take longer to develop.
These guys need playing time TO DEVELOP.
I realize that you aren’t into developing talent. You like the One Year, Flush and Start Over phenomenon and, now, the Transfer in, Flush and Re-initiate Flummox.
I’m not saying that you haven’t had success.
I am saying that you haven’t had any real ELITE “Im the highest paid College Basketball coach in America” success since the loss to Wisconsin or since you got handed that lifetime contract after dishonestly flirting with other programs.
In that loss, you pulled out your “prevent offense”. Run out the clock, throw up a prayer.
Nope. That doesn’t work.
Keep the gas pedal smashed and run other teams off the court.
Reach down. Grab your balls. Destroy the other team. Take their heart.
And, please, stop whining about the fans. For GOD’s sake…stop the whining.
You get paid way too much to play the victim.
If Johnny Juzang hadn’t felt forced out by last years crop of underachievers, Kentucky Basketball probably would have had a winning season. Then again…you probably wouldn’t have played him. You’d have played little Devin instead.
Juzang was a baller and, more importantly, a leader. He would have kept the team focused where you let them run amok and become political pawns.
John Calipari hasn’t been to a Final Four in over half a decade.
Johnny Juzang went last year.
Your turn, Cal.
Get it done.
