And one other thing, I have asked some of the women who are forced to wear those despicable rags. The only ones who were readily eager to wear them were those who were not forced to wear them. Those who were forced to wear them did not find it endearing to be forced to wear these rags.

That included educated women, uneducated women and those in between.

Many women wear those garments for fear of their lives. Try NOT wearing them in places like Qandahar, Afghanistan or Riyadh, SA. You'll be arrested, beaten, raped or murdered.

So, yes, you may think those garments represent your religious piety. To those women, they're simply a way to stay alive. Lest your pious Muslim men beat them, rape them, torture them, kill them.

And, no, before you go there. I am NOT saying that ALL Muslim men are like this. I have many Muslim Male friends who agree with me and hate these garments as much as I do.

Women like you, who choose to wear or defend these garments of religious terror are traitors to your gender. For many of your Sisters are dying in the lands of Islam due to these garments.

And, no, the West is not perfect either.

So don't come at me with that.

If you read my blog, I critique the West as well.

I talk about injustice wherever I see it.

That includes America, Europe and most assuredly within the Muslim World.

Again, I, also, pray that one day you find the wisdom and courage to stand beside your Muslim Sisters and fight these grave injustices.

I truly don't understand how you can think that I am making fun of Muslim women.

I just re-read this piece and it is clearly against the Men in power that I wrote this and other missives.

Now, there are Women who take great joy from the power they hold over others by virtue of the fact that they make their Masters in Islam happy by seeming pious and righteous. Women like those who work in Evin Prison in Teheran, etc. Those women deserve ridicule. They deserve worse.

I pray fervently to a just and true God that you will someday open your eyes to the injustice around you imposed by the burqa, hijab and chadori.

May the Gods bless and keep you.

Ms. Green,

I'm not putting the women down. It's the men who believe that it is right to keep their women down in a patriarchal system designed solely to keep them in power and to keep others, including, women down.

May you find understanding some day as well.

Peace and blessings.
