  1. Did “Grandpa “Les”, serve with my father with the 517th Field Artillery during WWII? I ask, because I have the EXACT same picture. I have the one of the kid with his hands up too! My father came from Brooklyn, NY. Many of his comrades came from MN. He spoke of a guy named George Sporring. Is that familiar? His name and my name is Eddie Jensen. My father died in 1992.
