World War II — Nimitz and the USS Missouri

These are more of the pictures from my Grandfathers collection. Some of these I remember seeing in LIFE magazine as a child.

  1. I am in possession of the same photos. I’m sure many copies were made and handed out to the troops. The photos were from a tech sargeant who served in the Phillipines and was part of the landing at Lingayen Gulf on 1/9/1945.
