The Sphinx is actually pretty far away
most pictures show the Sphinx it what appears to be close proximity to one of the Pyramids. As if the Sphinx abuts the Pyramid. It’s photographic sleight of hand. The Sphinx is at least 200 or 300 meters away. Also, the Nile is far away. A few miles from the Sphinx.
